‘Batman/Catwoman #6’ (review)

Written by Tom King
Art by Clay Mann
Published by DC Comics

This has been a really great story thus far. The creative team has been truly knocking it out of the park as the book has been progressing. This issue is pretty damn good as well. It is a very exciting book with just a little more to it as well.

This issue really explores a lot about Catwoman.

She has been through a lot these past few issues. We see that she has killed the Joker and that triggered something that she never thought was possible. We get to see that the Cat might actually be in her ninth life.

But what does that mean for the rest of the story?

We get to see the story shift between three different timelines. In those timelines, we get to see Catwoman go through a bunch of different trials with Phantasm and her beloved Batman himself, Bruce Wayne.

A lot is revealed in this issue. A lot of plot points are resolved. But this also is an issue that sets up the second half of the story. There is a lot coming down the pike that might be bigger than both Catwoman and Batman could possibly handle.

The story is quite excellent. King really knows how to layer it well and also include some excellent dialogue. The art by Clay Mann is superb as well.

Overall, this is a great issue of one of the better limited series out there.

RATING: A
