‘Batman/Catwoman #3’ (review)

Written by Tom King
Art by Clay Mann
Published by DC Comics

This book has been a treasure chest of entertainment.

I really like the way the creative team is handling this comic as it is full of excitement and high adventure. I have never read a comic quite like this and that is a good thing.

The whole thing is just very well done.

The book starts out with Selina Kyle coming to terms with a lot of things.

She is coming to realize that the Joker has been around her life for a real long time messing things up.

Now, we get to see Selina reacting to the discovery and let me just say that it isn’t pretty at all.

We get to see that going on at the beginning at the book.

She is getting together with Batman again and things are looking up. In fact, this is most solid that their relationship has ever been.

But there is something coming for them that may be even bigger than the Joker.

That would be Phantasm. He has the both of them in his sights. We get to see some of what Phantasm is after. We also get to see what the bigger scope of this project actually is. By the last page, things have really gotten to a boiling point!

Tom King is writing three of the best books in the marketplace currently. This is one of them. The art by Clay Mann is spectacular and perfect for the story. It is the best work of his career.

Overall, this is an excellent issue of this fantastic series.
