Written by Matt Fraction
Art by Terry Dodson

This has been a fun and subversive series thus far in this run.
Writer Matt Fraction does a great job of giving us a different look at superheroes. It is constantly inventive and consistently entertaining. This is well done.
At the beginning of the issue, we get to see Clare Connell in the emergency room. She is there because her family is convinced that something is wrong with her.
Clare believes that the fictional hero Adventureman is actually back and is a real hero in real life.
Is Clare crazy? Or is she really on to something here?
We don’t have a lot of time to ponder that as something is going on in the emergency room.
It seems that if Adventureman is suddenly real, then his enemies might be as well. Clare seems to be caught in the middle of it all.
We then get a huge action scene that was breathtaking. We also get to see Clare deal with the Adventureman legacy.
Can she come to terms with what it all means?
It looks like she is forced to. It also looks like she has to become a superhero of her very own.
The story is great and unpretentious. The artwork is still the best of Terry Dodson’s career.
All in all, this is one of the best comic books on the stands right now. It is the perfect read for these unprecedented and trying times, and it is guaranteed to put a smile on your face.
