30 ROCK renewed as NBC pushes primetime comedy past 10

When you’ve got a good thing going, make it bigger, right? NBC is ringing in 2011 by extending its Thursday night comedy block to three hours.
Beginning Jan. 20, Parks and Recreation makes its return to 9:30 p.m. behind The Office. Community will stay at 8 p.m., followed by new Olivia Munn show Perfect Couples. 30 Rock and Outsourced move into the 10 o’clock hour.
And you’ll be seeing more 30 Rock at 10. The Emmy-snatcher has been renewed for next season. Big week for Tina Fey, between this and winning the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor. (See video of her acceptance speech here.)
Other schedule shakeups: Law & Order: SVU is moving to 10 p.m. Wednesdays beginning Jan. 12; Parenthood will move to Mondays on March 7; Law & Order: Los Angeles moves to Tuesdays at 10 starting Feb. 8; and Chase relocates to Wednesdays at 9 on Jan. 12.
