This book has been crazy from the very first issue. Honestly, I don’t know how writer Rick Remender does it. Everything about this book is as inventive as can be. I am loving the direction that we apparently seem to be headed with this.
Ernie, our resident scumbag finds himself in quite a predicament as this issue begins. Apparently, Ernie is not the only scumbag around in the story presently. There are actually characters that are bigger scumbags than him!
This has a big effect on Ernie. He better get over it quick though. If he doesn’t, Madame Hive might actually pull ahead and win. Ernie can’t have that, so he does his best and gathers the group together.
Together, they go and they confront Madame Hive! There is a big battle that happens and it is a lot of fun to see.
This leads to a big conclusion for this story that shows us what might be happening from her on out!
The story is really excellent. It is funny and sharp and goes to some really great places.
The artwork is always well done and this issue is no different. Overall, this is another great issue of this series.
