‘Batman/Catwoman #7’ (review)

Written by Tom King
Art by Liam Sharp
Published by DC Comics

I don’t know how artist Liam Sharp does it. He is currently drawing two Batman series and making them both worthwhile. Not only that, but the quality is extremely high for both. Sharp takes over for a few issues here.

This is the issue where things really start to heat up. Batman is starting to question Catwoman and her ulterior motives. He is starting to suspect that her allegience might belong elsewhere now. This sets the Dark Knight off.

This conflict is also caused trouble for the people of Gotham City. The streets aren’t safe anymore and it is getting harder to deal with the criminals there. Catwoman has to make a tough decision.

That causes Catwoman to take a stand.

Things go crazy.

Eventually Bruce Wayne finds himself locked inside a bank vault.

Can he escape?

But even if he can, he has the Gotham City Police Department to contend with. And let’s just say, that they aren’t playing around.

The drama in this book goes higher here and it’s awesome. Tom King writes another fine script, and his passion shows. The artwork is well done. I wish it were Clay Mann for consistency. But hopefully he will be back. I love Sharp too, so it is an easy enough trade off.

RATING: A
