This has been a decent enough ride thus far.
The book really does feel like it is prepping us for the new Suicide Squad movie coming out in a month. There is enough here to like yet, it never seems to have multidimensional characters.
And that is okay!
Task Force X is looking for more recruits to their cause. They have failed with the Teen Titans in getting any new recruits.
So, they head on over to a place that might be a little dangerous for them.
They find themselves a place that can be quite scary: Earth 3.
That is right, the Suicide Squad heads out into the Multiverse to try and make a difference!
Amanda Waller has a plan on place and she intends to see it through. Yet, the Peacemaker starts to see that maybe they shouldn’t all be listening to Waller after all
This leads to a whole bunch of conflict.
Bloodsport tries to take control of the the team. A huge battle erupts! The team starts to fall apart. That is when all hell breaks loose and things start to really fall apart.
The story by Robbie Thompson is fairly decent. It is engaging enough but again lacks real character depth. The art by Dexter Soy and Eduardo Pansica is good as well.
Overall, this isn’t too bad at all and it is at the very least entertaining.
