It is great to see DC Comics supporting Pride Month with this comic book. James Tynion IV writes a story that Trung Le Nguyen draws about Batwoman that opens the book. It is very well done and it is definitely a pretty strong opening chapter for this book.
Writer Steve Orlando and artist Stephen Byrne gives us a cool Midnighter story. This tale reminds us that nobody can write the character quite like Orlando.
Writer Vita Ayala writes and Skylar Patridge give us a great story about the Question that is way too short. I wanted more!
Harley Quinn and Poison Ivy are both the stars of the next story. This one is written by Mariko Tamaki and drawn by Amy Reeder. I enjoyed this story very much.
Sam Johns writes a story for Klaus Janson next. It is about the Alan Scott Green Lantern and I loved how this one turned out.
Next up, we have a new take on the Flash Legacy written by Danny Lore and drawn by Lisa Sterle. It is nicely done.
The Pied Piper is up next in a story by Sina Grace and art by Ro Stein. These are well handled for the most part.
The last two stories are very good, too.
We are introduced to the Dreamer character from the Supergirl television series in a story by actress Nicole Maines with art by Rachael Stott.
Finally, we get a story from writer Andrew Wheeler and artist Luciano Vecchio about Aqualad, Jackson Hyde. It is a nice coda to the book.
Also included is a pinup gallery with art by Travis Moore, Kris Anka, Kevin Wada, Sophie Campbell, Nick Robles, David Talaski, and Brittney Williams and six profiles of DCTV’s LGBTQIA+ characters and the actors who play them!
This is really well done overall.
