This book is getting a little better with each passing issue. I am enjoying it enough although sometimes it does get painfully dry.
Ram V has written some decent books but this is definitely not his best work. Still, it has been improving slowly since he first started writing this comic.
The story starts out with the Riddler being extremely wounded.
He has revealed Poison Ivy’s whereabouts and now his own life is in jeopardy.
Catwoman takes the Riddler and sees if she can get him fixed up so he can help her out.
Selina takes him to a medic in Alleytown. You know by the location that the medical doctor may not be a reputed one. We get to see what happens from there.
When the Riddler is healed, Selina tries to get Poison Ivy’s whereabouts.
The problem with this is that Selina can’t discern whether he is telling the truth, or if it’s another riddle to him. And while all of this is going on, the Penguin is trying to figure out if the person he hired to try to kill Catwoman was on the level. Or, did he make a deadly mistake?
The story is pretty decent although it does trail off and get dull in some parts. I have to say that I do love the artwork of Fernando Blanco. It is pretty damn well done.
All in all, this issue isn’t too bad, and I do enjoy the direction that we are heading towards.
