‘Rorschach #5’ (review

Written by Tom King
Art by Jorge Fornes
Published by DC Comics

This comic book series has been super cool thus far.

The first four issues has had some of the best moments in a comic book in recent history, and this issue is pretty damn fine as well. I have to hand it to the creative team: They are doing one hell of a job on this.

So far, we have seen Rorschach being investigated for his involvement in an attempt to assassinate Governor Turley, the leading contender to unseat President Redford.

This issue does a pretty deep dive into that investigation and shows us where we are at.

It also has some big surprises in it as well.

Turley thinks that President Redford’s people are the ones responsible for the attempted assassination.

But the lead detective on the case doesn’t think that is true. He eventually discovers that the culprit might actually be from Governor Turkey’s campaign!

We get to see that detective try to show and prove how Rorsharch and Laura got that close to Turley. We get to see some revelations. We also get to see what Turley’s past with the Comedian was like.

Meanwhile, there seems to be another plot of Rorschach’s coming to light.

Tom King writes some of the most intricate stories out there. This is another accomplishment for him. The art by Jorge Fornes is tops as usual. It is some of the best artwork on the stands currently.

All in all, this is another great issue of an amazing limited series.
