This book is completely crazy! And that is just the way I like it.

Writer Tom Taylor has done a great job of keeping this book suspenseful and entertaining throughout.

This series will wrap up next issue, and things are about to go into overdrive.

And sure enough, they do.

The opening of the issue has the heroes who are still alive scrambling themselves to form a plan.

They are pretty much at their lowest at this point. They do everything they can to try get themselves together to make their last stand.

That is when the infected show up and form an attack. And man, what a quick attack there is. We then get more plot and not a lot of action. That is okay though, as it is all leading up to something big.

And honestly, the quiet moments here work well.

We get to see John Constantine scheming away. He has become the key character of this book. He better work quickly though. Things are coming to a head.

And I have clue how this is all going to end. I just know that it will be bloody.

The writing by Taylor is just that good. Things get crazy but never at the expense of character. The art is very nice done and expressive as well.

All in all, this is a fine book and a good penultimate issue as this series heads towards it’s conclusion.

RATING: B+
