I am so glad this title is back. We are in the middle of one hell of a Two-Face story and things were really heating up.
Peter J. Tomasi is writing one hell of a great book here. Brad Walker is doing an equally great job on the art. This is one of the best Batman stories in a long time!
We get a great demonstration on the first page of the personalities of Two-Face. This may be the best scene that he has ever had. It shows the character as he is supposed to be, no holds barred.
I loved this and would give this to anyone to show them just who Two-Face is. It’s just brilliant.
We then get to see Batman in a trap. Two-Face has him captured and it is a tense situation. Batman breaks free in a totally incredible scene.
Batman also manages to save everyone’s life in the process because well, he’s Batman.
The story then calms down a bit to give us a little back story to the present circumstances. This leads into a surprising moment when we get a guest star villain which just amps up the drama!
It is a completely awesome cliffhanger we are left off on.
The story here is fantastic. Tomasi is at the top of his game. The art by Brad Walker is nothing short of stunning. This is only getting better and I am so happy that this book is back. And man, I really can’t wait for that next issue to hit the stands.
